Personally I have tried and it got be asking the question, is this beneficial?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"> <strong>What is a self-love lifestyle? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Self- love is the <strong>appreciation for oneself<\/strong> through spiritual, physical and psychological growth. A self-love lifestyle is the steps you take to <strong>reach that growth<\/strong>, via exercising regularly, eating healthy, meditating, reduction in screen time,  learning etc. The self-love lifestyle gets most of its <strong>exposure<\/strong> through celebrities&#8217; and influencers (social media stars), which causes their followers to try obtain a similar lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>The benefits of the self-love lifestyle:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>The lifestyle is good for your health, it helps control your weight and boosts your immunity.<\/li><li>It can help you with your emotional control, meditation for example relieves stress.<\/li><li>Can give you life satisfaction.<\/li><li>Improved mental health and self esteem.<\/li><li>Greater happiness<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Ultimately this lifestyle is very <strong>beneficial<\/strong> for your phycological, physical and spiritual wellbeing. It can be very rewarding and genuinely give you a new zest for life. However, there is another side of it, obtaining this lifestyle takes a <strong>lot of energy<\/strong>. Work or school takes a lot of time for most of us, the little free time we have is precious and used for rest. This is where the self-love lifestyle lost me. Life got too <strong>busy and demanding<\/strong> to workout daily and when I pushed myself to continue living this lifestyle with the pressures of school, I burnt out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Burn out<\/strong> is emotional, physical and mental exhaustion caused by excessive stress. This exhaustion leads to a lack of motivation, which coincides with the self-love lifestyle. Burn out makes it hard to obtain any lifestyle. Another aspect of of the self-love lifestyle is the<strong> inaccurate perspectives<\/strong> we get on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">I previously said that the self-love lifestyle is obtained mostly by celebrities and influencers. We get <strong>glimpses<\/strong> of their lives through interviews and videos that show a <strong>selective view<\/strong> which is most often inaccurate. What they leave out is the off days and the downfalls of living this lifestyle. Its understandable that they leave the information out, they dont have to disclose it. However, they create an unattainable image that can be <strong>harmful<\/strong> because those who fall victim to it tend to be their younger and vulnerable viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>What is a self-love lifestyle?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Self-love is <strong>how you define it<\/strong>. Following a stranger&#8217;s lifestyle to have self-love is just silly, you should make a routine that supports your values and goals. You may use others as inspiration but never copy it exactly. Something to keep in mind is not to make big changes so quickly. Going to the extreme suddenly will lead to burn out, so make small changes overtime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">This was a different article than our usual content but I hope you enjoyed it regardless.
