Boredom Busters: Binge worthy TV Shows (p.2)

As we all are staying at home you probably found yourself getting bored not knowing what to do, well we have decided to make a series of posts called Boredom Busters which is a list of some things that can keep you entertained during this stressful time. Feel free to suggest some TV shows in the comments!

Comedies:

• How I Met your Mother– Follows Ted Mosby as he narrates the story of how he met the mother of his children. In most countries it is available on Netflix.
• Drop Dead Diva– An aspiring model gets killed in a car crash and gets brought back to life as a plus sized lawyer with astonishing intelligence. Throughout the series she learns the meaning of true beauty.

Dark Comedies:

• Series of Unfortunate Events: Follows the unfortunate lives of 3 unlucky Baudelaire Orphans as they try survive the pursuit their nemesis Count Olaf. It is available on Netflix.

Feel Good:

• Firefly lane– Follows childhood friends Kate and Tully who have different personalities and home lives but still manage to remain good friends. (check out our review for more) You can watch it on Netflix.
• Gilmore Girls– Follows a mother and daughter with a very close relationship and they end up more like friends. In most countries it is available on Netflix.
• Full/Fuller House– Follows the lives of an unconventional family and all hardships of parenthood and childhood. It is available on Netflix.

Baking Shows:

• Nailed it– It is a bake off competition but instead of good bakers they have 3 amateur bakers compete to replicate complicated cakes and confections. It is available on Netflix.
• Sugar Rush– Is a Baking competition that features 4 professional baking duos as they compete in 3 rounds cake, cupcakes and confections. It is available on Netflix.

Superhero:

• Wanda Vision– Follows the comic book characters Wanda and Vision which follows them after the events of Avengers Endgame. You can watch it on Disney+.
• My Hero Academia (anime)- In the future 80% of the world’s population is born with superpowers or quirks as it is called, the series follows a class of heroes in training. It is on Crunchyroll and in certain countries it is on Netflix.

Fantasy/Sci fi/Magic:

• Merlin- Merlin as young skilled sorcerer is sent into the kingdom of Camelot where be becomes a servant to Prince Arthur Pendragon. In certain countries it is on Netflix.
• Expanse– It takes place 200 years in the future and the solar system was colonized solar system and our main characters work together to prevent a war between Earth and Mars. It is available on Amazon Prime.
• Umbrella Academy– Reunited by their father’s death, estranged siblings with extraordinary powers uncover family secrets and a looming threat to humanity. You can watch on Netflix.
