Animal Facts:

  1. If a grizzly bear and polar bear were to mate, their offspring would be called a “Pizzy Bear”.
  2. A snail can sleep for THREE years, aren’t they lucky.

  4. Elephants are the only animal that can not jump.
  5. A shrimps heart is located in its head.

  1. 9th January is “Word Nerd Day” .
  2. 1st February is “Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day”, I’m not complaining about that.
  3. 18th March is “Awkward Moments Day”, I wonder how that works.
  4. 29th May is “Put Your Pillow on the Fridge Day”…
  5. 23rd August is “Ride like the Wind Day”.

Science Facts:

  1. The Eiffel Tower can GROW 15cm during the summer, when it is heated up the particles move up, and therefore takes up a larger volume.
  2. Stomach acid is so strong it can dissolve stainless steel.
  3. If you took out all the empty space in our atoms, the human race could fit in the volume of a sugar cube.
  4. Chalk is made from trillions of microscopic plankton fossils.
  5. A flea can accelerate faster than the Space Shuttle.
