After a stressful day, we all like to just lay down on the couch and watch some Netflix. So we decided to do some research and share some facts about the platform.

  • The founders of Netflix is Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph.
  • Netflix was first founded in August 1997.
  • Netflix at that time was purely a movie rental service.
  • There are over 1 300 Netflix originals.
  • It would take approximately 34 739 hours to watch everything on Netflix.
  • The longest show to remain on the top 10, is Avatar the Last Airbender.
  • The longest show on Netflix is Grey’s Anatomy with 15 seasons.
  • Th Witcher is the most watched Netflix Original with the audience 76 million.
  • The most expensive Netflix Original Series is The Crown.
  • There is an estimated 167.1 million Netflix Subscribers.
  • United States has the most Netflix subscribers at 61 million.
  • Colombia has the cheapest Netflix subscription.
